"I had a filling by another dentist that needed to be redone. Dr. Flipse and Ms. Donna repaired my tooth better than the original! In addition, Dr. Flipse's injections are completely painless!! I highly recommend their office to everyone!"- J.F. / Google / May 29, 2020
"I had a complex situation with a discontinued implant that needed restoring. I had a prosthodontist colleague tell me they couldn’t help. I knew Dr Flipse had a lot of experience so I brought it up to him casually And he took it and ran. It took two appointments and they got the tooth restored! The most impressive part is how efficiently that office runs and how professional and friendly his staff are. They are a well oiled machine for sure. I had a wonderful experience there and highly recommend them ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"- J.D. / Google / Mar 16, 2021

"My implant crowns are aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Dr Flipse is a skilled dental surgeon with excellent chair-side manner. The staff is professional, attentive, efficient and friendly. Price was high, but I got what I paid for."- B.F. / Google / Jan 25, 2020
"Dr. Flipse went out of his way to take care of my dental emergency, which, in the grand scheme of things, wasn't an emergency to anyone but me. I wasn't in pain; I had lost my "flipper" which is like a retainer with a front tooth on it. It's a temporary tooth while I wait for my permanent implant. There was no way I would be going out in public without it. Dr. Flipse arranged for a new one to be made immediately, and my weekend was saved. Thanks, Dr. Flipse!!!!!!"- M.T. / Google / Dec 16, 2019
There are many signs that you may be grinding your teeth and/or clenching your jaw at night. You may wake up in the morning with a headache, tightness or pain in your jaw, and facial swelling. Other signs are loosened teeth or fillings, chipped enamel on your back teeth, a receding gumline, and tooth sensitivity. Teeth grinding and clenching at night are typically caused by stress, but it may also be brought on by allergies, misaligned teeth, a sleep disorder, or temporomandibular joint disorder (called TMD). When Dr. Flipse makes your bruxism diagnosis, he will also try to determine the cause so that your night guard therapy can be coupled with other treatments for the best possible outcomes.
What to Expect
After Dr. Flipse diagnoses your bruxism, he will attain oral impressions and digital oral x-rays so your custom night guard can be created. Next, we will send your information to a dental laboratory where your specialized night guard will be crafted out of the best materials. After your night guard is sent back to our office, you will come in to have it fitted. Dr. Flipse may make small adjustments so that it fits comfortably. We will also give you instructions on how to properly care for your night guard so it will last many years.
For maximum night guard efficiency, you need to wear it each night. Your night guard should minimize or alleviate the discomfort and dental problems created by bruxism, but if not, please contact our office so Dr. Flipse can look for additional issues and try other treatments. In order to help keep your mouth and night guard healthy, we recommend that you clean and care for your teeth and guard before and after each use. Your night guard should be brought in to all future appointments so Dr. Flipse can make adjustments or repairs as needed.
Once you receive a bruxism diagnosis, some of the cost of your night guard might be paid by your dental insurance. If you have dental insurance, our office will call your insurance carrier to confirm your cost and coverage. At your consultation, Dr. Flipse will give you information about our accepted payment methods, as well as your costs, with or without insurance. To make your treatment more affordable, Implant & General Dentistry can help you to qualify for medical financing.
